Profit split ratios

The profit split ratio determines how trading profits are divided between the trader and the prop trading firm. In PU Xtrader, the profit split ratio is set at 80% for the trader and 20% for the firm.

Daily drawdown limits

Basic Account: Traders with a basic account have a daily drawdown limit of up to 5%. This limit specifies the maximum amount of loss that a trader can incur in a single trading day before further trading activity may be restricted.

Plus Account: Traders with a plus account have a higher daily drawdown limit of up to 10%. This allows for a slightly higher tolerance for drawdowns, reflecting a more advanced trading status within PU Xtrader.

For example, if a trader with a Plus account starts the day with a balance of $100,000, their maximum allowable loss for that day is $10,000. Exceeding this maximum loss limit will result in disqualification.

Payouts and Withdrawals

Impact of payouts on account size and future funding

All payouts are calculated with respect to a trader’s Initial Balance. If a trader’s current balance is lower than their Initial Balance, they will have to profit from trades until their current balance exceeds their Initial Balance in order to qualify for a payout.

Should the trader not request a payout during the current cycle, their profits will be rolled over to the next cycle, where they can trade with simulated capital equal to their Initial Balance, plus the profits of the current cycle.

Procedures for requesting payouts

Payouts shall be paid to the trader via the Client Portal, wherein a trader is required to access their dashboard and select the “Payout” option on an active PU Trader account. Payout methods include via credit card, cryptocurrencies, or e-wallet, the full list of which can be found on the Client Portal.

Once the trader has requested for payout in the Client Portal, your PU Trader account will be set to read-only (trading is locked) until your payout is processed. Traders can only request for a payout after all positions are closed on your PU Trader Account.

Frequency and method of profit withdrawals

Payouts take place in fortnightly cycles stated on the Client Portal. The FIRST payout of any session can only be requested 7 calendar days after creation of the PU Trader account.
